Bookcart Ministry

Associate Chaplain Jim Gunter

Wholesome and Christian literature is made available to the inmates on a weekly basis. New reading materials are purchased and added to the carts along with used books and magazines that are donated. The purpose of the book cart ministry is to demonstrate God’s love in a very practical way.

Organizing Carts Weekly

Associate Chaplain Jim Gunter, organizes, categorizes, and loads two book carts for distribution to the male inmates each week. Other associate chaplains and volunteers assist Jim in taking out the carts to the inmates each week.
